Super thick (1.5micron) Silver plating directly on polished surface of receptacle and blade. Polishing process again (twice) on the silver plated surface, and then applied final Rhodium plating (0.3micron). Combination and thicknesses of plating represent the final sound character. Quality of polishing process influences the sound quality.

P-079e / C-079

Super thick (2.0micron) 24K GOLD plating directly on polished surface of receptacle and blade. Polishing process again (twice) on the 24K GOLD plated surface.Construction method is alike except direct 24k extra thick plating on polished receptacles and blades.Plating material and quality change sound dramatically. Where Rhodium sounds pure and strong, Gold sounds warm, soft and luxurious. Either, they both sound beyond standard. It’s up to you to choose for your type of sound and music.

World-class Standard

P/C-004 which inherited the philosophy from M1/F1 is the newest model of P/C series and provides excellent practical utility and superior cost performance.

In order to respond adequately to the demands of customers, it has taken many years to make researches, test repeatedly, and achieve to produce the innovative product. Consequently, Oyaide now can provide P/C-004.

The contact of the P/C-004 is made of beryllium copper that insures mechanical integrity and high conductivity. And the plating of the P/C-004 is a combination of platinum and palladium. The outer barrel is made from thick Polycarbonate that has superior mechanical strength and is colored black diamond which was projected the image of emotional and exciting sound.

The M1/F1 is flagship model.It evolved that followed concept of the P/C series.The oyaide made "more hi-end model"spending above a year from the plan. The latest engineering was brushed up more highly and in united various elements exquisitely.The design made the lens of the camera which caught the moment a motif.
It is an attractive design and moreover high-performance
The dual monocoque housing with Delrin and aluminum has distinguished mechanical strength. Furthermore, it is an excellent vibration attenuation characteristic and a low noise. The electrode part newly used the beryllium copper.We did much audition tests for plating. As a result, We chose two layer of platinum + palladium plating.
The M1/F1 was united a lot of characteristics and held to uncompromising standards.It gives a strong impression by dynamic sound and the audience will become fascinated with the perfect sound.The M1/F1 is best power,more dynamic,graceful and the ultimate refinements.

M A N U F A C T U R I N G P R O C E S S

The Oyaide schuko / IEC range of products are manufactured entirely in Japan so that strict quality controls can be applied and maintained. The result is a perfect finish for each model, see some of the iportant aspects below...

The contact pins are made out of deoxidized phosphorus bronze and machined out of a single piece, for the best possible conductivity.

The feedstock is made out of a bolt with 14 mm in diameter and weights 70 grams, the machining has to be done with a highly sophisticated CNC lathe, in order to archive the highest precision on this complex shape.

In order to improve the sound quality the plating is a very important issue. Therefore our contacts are free of any nickel plating. Instead of nickel plating, we hand polishing the metal parts two times. But only this costly process archives a mirror like surface, and a base for the final gold- or rhodium plating. The mirror like surface is another pre-condition for a clear and crisp sound.
