In 2007, OYAIDE created HS-CF and HSR-AG especially for lovers of analog audio.
HS-CF SPECIFICATIONS
HS-CF DESCRIPTION The most essential thing for a headshell is high structural rigidity yet lightweight and capability to attenuate unnecessary vibration. We selected CFRP, Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic, for HS-CF as the best material which satisfies such requirements. Its 4mm thick shell part is composed of seventeen layers of prepreg material (carbon fiber). At the planning phase, we employed single directional alignment with an exception of the center layer in order to gain vibration damping property maximum. By the application of Epoxy resin as a matrix material, its mechanical strength property remains unchanged semipermanently. It is brought to completion by angle type casting to avoid adhesive joints and cutting operation by CNC machining. The seventeen layers prepreg material is made from T700, highly rigid carbon fiber, manufactured by TORAY and “1K cloth” is employed as its surface material and is made from T300 carbon fiber which is also manufactured by TORAY.
HSR-AG SPECIFICATIONS
HSR-AG DESCRIPTION 0.2mm 5N pure silver wires are manufactured by advanced manufacturing processes such as continuous casting process in high-frequency electric furnace, cold rolling process, annealing operation and drawing process. They are stranded in seven lines to insure enough cross-sectional area and minimize its conductor resistance.
The employment of double layered silk covering insulator realizes clean signal transmission without static electrical charge. Although resinic materials such as PVC or Teflon are easy to be negatively charged, in contrast, silk has electric resistivity to static charge and excellent electrical characteristic. Moreover, the glass fiber sleeve also has high insulation property and resistance to electrical static charge. The rhodium plated lead tip is made of phosphor bronze and enhances degree of adhesion with contact pins.
Dedicated to Analog - PA-2075 5 PIN TO RCA AND RCA TO RCA
PCOCC-A is a core component of all PA series lineup and is a key factor for high-quality and high-performance only from Oyaide Electric. Each model of PA series has its own concept and identity individualized by materials and structures. The PA-2075 coaxial cable is a parallel-layout structure designed
to be compact and lightweight. In order to reduce conductor resistance and
transmit weak analog signal effectively, the overall diameter of the conductor
strands was increased to 0.5sq. PCOCC-APCOCC copper is a material that includes very few impurities and insures very low levels of signal disturbance. Because of its incidence of no grain boundaries, the signal passes without impediment or distortion. Heating and cooling the PCOCC wire under controlled circumstances yields a densely re-crystallized, highly pure structure called a μ conductor. The resulting product with a mirror finish applied is called PCOCC-A copper. This highly advanced product is made possible by the combined application of high technology and traditional Japanese craftsmanship. MULTI STRANDING STRUCTUREA core component of PA-2075 is PCOCC-A signal transmission unit, 0.5sq diameter, and forms the Multi-stranded wire structure. Rather than twisting whole wires, the triple-layered inverted concentric structure is employed for maximum density and uniformity of wire structure and for infilling of internal space and preventing deformation among the wires. Served shielding is applied to infill internal space and to prevent deformation among the wires as well as the conductor. The number of wires used for the served shield is about three times more than the number for the conductor. SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICPA-2075 was created for transmitting ultra-week analog signal. Due to the fact that its electric capacitance is set to 110.0pF/m (1kHz) and characteristic impedance is set to 44Ω, PA-2075 has excellent signal transmitting capability. THE SEMICONDUCTOR LAYERA core component of PA-2075 is PCOCC-A signal transmission unit, 0.5sq diameter, and forms the Multi-stranded wire structure. INSULATOR & OUTER SHEATHIn addition to PCOCC-A conductor, we employed halogen-free sheathing
developed specifically for audio applications. It is RoHS compliant and has
excellent vibration damping property due to its compounding ratio of materials.
It also has superior electrical characteristic which controls the elevation of
relative permittivity and attenuation of electric quantity of bass sound. CONNECTOR (PA-2075 DR/RR)The 5PIN plug and RCA plug, designed to compliment the PA-2075 cable, are
uniquely able to extract the full potential of the PA-2075. Each contact is
rhodium plated to prevent corrosion. The internal insulating material is made
from low-dielectric PTEE to extenuate the loss of signal transmission, and the
RCA plug attenuates unnecessary vibration by means of its unique inner resin
filling that is inserted after soldering has been completed.
