The legend continues with the new VIRGO V...

Since it was first introduced in 1988, almost twenty years ago ! the Audio Physic Virgo has been a loudspeaker held in the highest esteem by the international press and indeed Virgo owners all over the world. The Virgo V will not disappoint, indeed we strongly believe that this is the best Audio Physic Virgo ever !

Everything about the new Virgo says 'class' the luxurious build and finish, the superb newly designed tweeter and midrange units, the push-push bass control from the dual 7 inch low frequency drivers plus the beautifully elegant, graceful and discreet cabinet design.

All of the Audio Physic strengths are present in abundance. A world beating high frequency and and mid-range performance is on offer, thanks to the new HHCT and HHCM drivers. There is also a solid and articulate bass performance thanks to the Audio Physic 'push-push' bass driver configuration. Needless to say that with the highest quality internal electronics used by Audio Physic the overall coherence of the Virgo is beyond question. Finally, the famous Audio Physic 'i can touch the instruments' imaging and soundstage with 'no loss of fine detail'

The new Virgo V - packed with the latest Audio Physic innovations.

The Hyper-Holographic Cone Midrange

Brand-new: The first ever midrange speaker without any typical “Midrange speaker-own-sounding”, short: the first mid-range speaker that you “can't  hear”!

The HHCM driver, a new development by Audio Physic, uses a radically novel basket design to minimise resonances. Moving parts such as the diaphragm, the surround, the spider and the voice coil are held in proper alignment by a plastic basket designed to achieve a maximum degree of internal damping. The neodymium magnet powering the system is encased in a die-cast aluminium heat sink which is connected to the wide basket rim via slim bridges. The aluminium diaphragm takes full advantage of Active Cone Damping II, Audio Physic’s further refined state-of-the-art technology implemented to avoid ringing resonances normally associated with stiff diaphragms.

Setting up the new Virgo V is made very easy by the addition of the stylish adjustable feet. The VCT 'vibration control terminal' is neatly positioned at the bottom and holds the high quality speaker connectors which accept several types of traditional connectors.
