1989 was the year …
when Audio Physic presented a revolutionary new loudspeaker named the AVANTI.
Why revolutionary?
It was the first time a large floor standing speaker was created in a size suitable for living rooms without any compromises in sound reproduction quality. The baffle width was reduced to a minimum by installing the bass speakers in the sides. The result was an elegant, slim cabinet meeting the highest demands in sound quality and asthetics.
The NEW AVANTI features the completely new Hyper-Holographic-Cone tweeter, a new revolutionary cabinet technology and further sophisticated woofer- and midrange drivers. The new HHCT is, we believe a revolution in performance and tweeter design. Now you can have a loudspeaker with a tweeter that YOU CAN'T HEAR !
The well established 31⁄2-way-concept with four side firing 7“ woofers was kept as well as the elegant shape and the compact size of the cabinet. The NEW AVANTI follows the design of the larger CALDERA closer than before. Refined CAD technology supported the approach to an ingenious new cabinet structure with inaudible resonances. The localisation of sound events, already a domain of the NEW AVANTI, now appears even more realistic.
The Avanti cabinet has also been completely re-designed, contributing to the Avanti's state of the art performance
